A special thank you to Kathleen Exline for taking the time to speak at our Chamber Annual Dinner. Your message about practicing gratitude was such a meaningful reminder for all of us.

In the middle of busy schedules, deadlines, and everything happening in our businesses and communities, it’s easy to move quickly from one thing to the next without stopping to appreciate the moment. Last night gave us a chance to slow down, reflect, and simply be grateful.

Research shows that practicing gratitude can improve our physical, mental, and social well-being by lowering stress, strengthening relationships, and increasing happiness.

Kathleen reminded us that gratitude isn’t just a feeling — it’s something we practice. And sometimes the most important thing we can do is pause and recognize the people, opportunities, and community around us.

Thank you again, Kathleen, for sharing your time and wisdom with our Chamber and for reminding us all how important it is to be grateful.

We are thankful for leaders like you.
