Scottsburg High School’s Advanced Manufacturing class participated in a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Workshop this week, held at Mid-America Science Park.

The workshop was led by Gary Graf, Coordinator of Engineering Technical Services at the University of Louisville Speed School of Engineering. Students learned the fundamentals, and current practices of CNC, and worked in teams to assemble desktop
CNC mills that were purchased through a grant awarded by Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs (The Foundation of Fabricators and Manufacturers Association).
