This year SCP implemented three new drug prevention education courses in both Scott County School districts. The courses are taught once per week for 7-12 weeks.
“Curriculum Based Support Group” is taught to 9th grade students in Austin.
“Project Towards No Drugs” is taught to 10th grade students in both districts.
“LifeSkills Training Transitions” is taught to 12th grade in both districts.
The cohorts taught in Austin High School came to completion with a cumulative Kahoot game. The students competed against other students in their cohort to win gift cards for $100 for 1st Place. Each 2nd and 3rd place winner received $50.
